Deluxe Pots is a family owned store that's been 45 years in the making. Run by a brother and sister duo, it all started when their father started importing pots from Malaysia in the early 80's selling to department stores and nurseries. Soon the family opened a chain of well known retail stores across South East QLD called Linda's Place. In the early 90's Bailey went garden pot exploring in Vietnam and was the first of many to start importing pots from Vietnam into Australia. We have seen every different trend of garden pots imaginable, from Terracotta, to blue and green glazed to black and white terrazzo and then repeated all over again. But the one pot trend that has been increasing year after year is the fact that most people who buy pots want them light-weight. Our retail store started importing fibreglass pots in the early 2000's from different factories in Vietnam but quickly realised not all fibreglass pots are made equal. We struggled to find fibreglass pots that could endure the harsh Australian climate and if they were put outside would become brittle and prone to cracking. We refused to buy it's cheaper cousin fibre-clay which is mostly what you'll see on other websites and the big hardware stores which is mud-based and susceptible to disintegration.

We decided the best way to ensure the highest quality fibreglass pots was to start making them ourselves. But first we needed a teacher. We hired an experienced Gold Coast boat maker to go to Vietnam and teach our workers the exact fibreglass techniques needed to ensure that not only our pots look fantastic but they are the strongest on the market.

Our retail store has been selling these fibreglass pots on the Gold Coast for over ten years and have built legions of loyal customers that keep returning to us knowing they will buy top quality pots at competitive prices.

With the rising popularity in internet shopping we thought we'd jump onboard and start an online only store just selling our products that can be shipped to all of Australia's metro cities as well as most towns in QLD, NSW, VIC and SA.
